IN THE PRESS: Elements Tops NJ Monthly’s Best 25 Restaurants 2016 List

Thank you NJ Monthly and Eric Levin for including elements in “New Jersey’s Best 25 Restaurants of 2016!

NJ Monthly releases an annual list of the state’s finest dining experiences, chosen by their panel of food critics and reporters, led by deputy editor/dining editor Eric Levin.

“Like the world-famous Noma in Copenhagen, Elements takes the concept of an open kitchen beyond the norm. Compared to the old location on the outskirts of town, the new dining room is smaller, more comfortable, and quieter – actually serene – a superb environment in which to immerse one’s senses in the delicacies and delights created by executive chef Scott Anderson, 41, chef de cuisine Mike Ryan, 36, and their three chef de parties.”

Congratulations to our talented kitchen team, particularly executive chef Scott Anderson and chef de cuisine Mike Ryan, for putting all their passion on the plate and turning food into art.

Elements, which last year closed its Bayard Lane location in Princeton, has reopened at 66 Witherspoon Street in Princeton. The restaurant is on the second floor of the building that houses Mistral. Elements serves globally inspired modernist cuisine under the direction of executive chef/co-owner Scott Anderson and chef de cuisine Mike Ryan. The restaurant has 28 seats and unobstructed views of the kitchen, so that guests can watch their meals being prepared. A cook delivers each dish, as one of the aims of the restaurant is to eliminate the barrier between the chefs and patrons. The following menus are offered:

Weekdays:
A four-course $79 menu; wine pairings, $45; reserve wine pairing, $79.
An a la carte version of the four-course menu is available upon request.

Weekends:
Chef’s Tasting menu, $125; with wine pairing, $65; reserve wine pairing, $125.
Grand Tasting menu, $185; one-week advance notice.

Menu items can be found on the website. Open Tuesday through Saturday, 5 to 9:30 PM. Reservations: 609-924-0078.
