elements welcomes Chef Nicholas Elmi from Laurel and Royal Boucherie in Philadelphia on Sunday May 5th 2019. He will work collaboratively alongside our elements team to bring you a tasting menu focused on spring wild edible season here in the central NJ area.
Chef Anderson and Chef Elmi will create an innovative menu focusing on our local Sansai season. Sansai translates to “mountain vegetables” and refers to all foraged herbs and vegetables found in the spring.

ABOUT Chef Nicholas Elmi
In addition to his 2 critically acclaimed restaurants, he was twice nominated as Best Chef Mid-Atlantic by the James Beard Foundation. Chef Elmi is a graduate of Culinary Institute of America and native of West Newbury, Massachusetts and has worked in some of the top restaurants on the east coast (Le Bec Fin, Union Pacific, Oceana) and the world (Guy Savoy, Paris). Chef Nicholas Elmi is the winner of Season 11 of Bravo’s Top Chef Series.
